I kind of can't believe how exciting this year is looking to be. I'm seeing Britney Spears on April 3rd, and Lily Allen on April 11th, and then it's off to Tulsa, Oklahoma with Emily for May 14-18. But the most exciting thing has nothing to do with this spring, or even summer, it has to do with September. I got in to the college I've wanted to go to since I was a sophomore in high school! I've paid my dues here at my least favorite college in the world and now it has all paid off. I'm so excited to meet new people, people with motivation, people who would never dare to drive up to school blasting Kid Rock or Nickelback. I'm excited to have a place of my own with my friends, and to live in a huge city that doesn't close shop at 8pm.
I'm a little nervous that I haven't been adequately prepared for a "real" college. I've been going to high school 2.0, and I know it's going to be a big reality shock come September 9th. I'm confident though, I've always been a good student. (and that's just truth, not some inflated ego shit) If this means people can actually edit my papers and give me feedback, so be it! (Seriously, I fear for the future of my reading/writing II class)

It's probably good I wrote all of this before I go to bed, because honestly the thought of finding a decent apt./house stresses me out so much I can't get to sleep. Ahh, it'll all work out in the end I'm sure.

I honestly don't understand why people get so upset over Valentine's day. And I mean people who have have a valentine, and those who don't. If you have someone "special", why not get them flowers or whatevs some random day. I guarantee it'd be more appreciated then, then it would be on a cliche Hallmark holiday. If you don't have a ~valentine, who cares? It's just another day. Sobbing in front of 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' with your tub of ice cream will do you no good. Plus, that movie sucks dick. Mop your shit up and get over it.

I've been thinking, and it's kind of crazy how many cool people I've met just because of my favorite band. Seriously, I have become friends with some really cool people. It's strange, because seemingly "normal" people are hard to find in a crowd of Hanson fans.

But the more I think about it... the less weird it is. If you travel around the country together, and know they won't roll your eyes when you bring up anything Hanson (or opening band) related, and you like basically all the same music... why wouldn't you become fast friends?

I feel like I should come clean about this.

I bought a Jonas Brother wall calendar. Now, before you place judgment you should know they're still on my shit list, but is it such a crime to enjoy a peek of Nick and Joe (Kevin, DNW) for only $4.50? As long as I repress every thought of 'Lovebug', it's tends to be a pleasant glance of the eyes.
